Me: “This piece specifically could never be an actual book. It has to be free to grow and evolve as fast as I do. And what matters to me is that every aspect of it feels fresh and alive and true for me. There will never be anything stagnant with regards to this work. Even if that means removing essays along the way, but so far they keep increasing. It’s no different than my website, really. I am always refining everything on there as well. It will never be done because I will never be done. I will always be refining so everything around me does by extension.
