Mandy Richardson has been a public writer since 2007 on mandylandrocks.com, and has received much praise for her candid expressions throughout her many evolutions over the years, being deemed “One of the most visceral and informative and just no-holds-barred voices out there in the interwebs”.

She received two Literary Award Nominations: Bernice Adams Awards (2014) and the KW Arts Awards (2011), both exclusively for her personal writings on her website (all of which have been removed from the site), and has self-published 4 books: ‘Wake Up! This Is Your Life: A Guide For Living Well’ (2005), ‘The Poet & The Butterfly: An Intimate Dialogue’ (2007 + 2017), ‘Her Lovers: Collecting Men in Poems’ (2019), and You Don’t Need This Money Book (2025), with her next book in the queue and on the hunt for a traditional publisher.

Mandy’s second book, ‘The Poet & The Butterfly: An Intimate Dialogue’, received incredible praise including, "A very brave book” by Rogers Television and "A modern classic" by Echo Weekly Magazine.

With her simple lines garnering the title “The Zen Koan of the Energetics”, her current and primary focus is delving even deeper into the areas of consciousness and inner freedom as she unveils and crystallizes universal truths and the undercurrents of energy in all aspects of life, especially in the arena of wealth; financial and otherwise.

Mandy has an Honours Degree in Religious Studies with a minor in Spirituality and Personal Development from The University of Waterloo (2007), as well as a Diploma in Social Services from Conestoga College (1999).

She resides in Montreal, Quebec with her favourite feline, Chloe, and spends most of her time writing, curating art, and enjoying Sans Soleil.
