You're gonna die so you may as well truly LIVE!
The moments and the days and the years pass by so fast and then we'll all be gone. As will all the ones we love. None of us can get around that inevitability. Is this sad or empowering or both?
For me, it's hella motivating. The awareness of death makes me make the most out of life.
We don't have all the time in the world. We have RIGHT NOW. We have today. That's it. Not everybody received this gift. Not everyone woke up to a new day. But you're still breathing so you're not done yet, my friend.
And my advice is to make sure you're spending as many moments and hours and days and years as you can, doing what you really, truly want to be doing, whatever that is for you right now.
What are you waiting for?
Ask yourself what would make you really happy in this moment. And in the next, and in the next.
And then watch how all your feel good moments link up to make a string of awesomeness that could not have been cultivated externally. It was a result of your choice moment after moment to make yourself and how you feel your top priority.
You can't hire someone to do that for you. It's a gift you give yourself.
You don't need money to make you happy. Duh! I'm still living in poverty (not bragging just stating the truth lol) and I have no idea what I'll be doing after school or how long my savings will last me but has that ever changed how fully I live my moments? Nope!
I trust that I'll figure it out when the time comes and that everything will be just fine because hasn't life already proved to me a bazillion times that this is the case?
So why would it be different now? Or then?
You need money to buy things and pay the bills, sure. And it's always nice to have plenty of it at your disposal so that you can do and get the things you want when you want to do and get them. That's freedom. But there are MANY types of freedom and many ways to achieve it and money is just one slice of life's pie.
That glorious feeling of being in the flow of your own life cannot be bought and FYI, it's a delicious magnet for abundance of all kinds anyways so you can't go wrong.
Its power is experienced in real time and that's what you're truly after, isn't it? To feel in alignment with yourself. To know you're on track. To be high from your own energy as a result of doing the things and being the kind of hottie that your soul would be proud of. Amirite?
The rest comes and goes but your magnificence is eternal. And how often do you actually tap into that power of yours?
Abundance shows up in countless ways for me every single day and for you as well or you wouldn't still be here or even be reading this right now.
I can guarantee you that you're far richer than you think, and while you focus on the things you don't have yet, life is like, "Umm ... HELLOOOOOO!!!" because you're blind to your own bounty. And when you're blind to it, it's pretty hard to call in more of it, you know what I mean?
Food, water, safety, friends, family, shelter, clothing, LIFE ITSELF, the sun, laughter, hugs, furry friends ... just to name a few of the things we take for granted as we complain about slow wifi and the wrong Starbucks order.
Refocus on what's good, yo!
You don't need ANYTHING outside of yourself to feel joy right now or to rise up to the next level.
You don't need more to happen to feel gratitude in this moment.
You don't need anyone's permission to live life on your own terms.
You don't need to wait for something else or someone else to change in order to make your next move. Just do it and the next step after that will be revealed.
Doors will open as you open them. Not as you sit and wait for them to open themselves.
You're far too awesome to sit powerless awaiting what you truly want.
Do you really want to put your well-being and success and life in the hands of another? No one deserves such a burden. That job belongs to you.
Do you really want to put off what you most want until (insert future wish here ________) (you have more money, more time, lose weight, gain weight, quit the job, get a job, finish school, start school, get a man, get rid of the man, have kids, kick the whippersnappers out) whatever it is for you.
I can tell you that it's BULLSHIT and just keeps you stuck where you are.
Do you really want to spend another day feeling like you're not doing what you were born to do (if that applies to you)?
I doubt it.
I bet you want to feel amazing about your life and what you're doing and who you're being while you're living your life.
So if that's the case, and you don't yet feel that way about these things, it's time to make a move to get yourself from here to there.
I can't tell you what that next move is, but that beautiful soul of yours knows fo sho.
