For those witnessing my joy and how my life is unfolding right now, allow me to remind you that I wanted to take my own life many, many times throughout most of my life, especially right before moving to Montreal (and even once while living here), so if you’re being swallowed by the darkness, please take me as proof that things can get better and happiness IS possible and it’s absolutely worth staying alive (even when you believe it’s not).
PLEASE get the support you need to make it through whatever pain you’re currently dealing with. You’re not meant to go through it alone. You’re not on the planet to suffer. You are here to transmute all the things that hold you back from being your most magnificent self.
And only YOU can do that very important work. You have what it takes to transform yourself and your life. I promise. So give yourself the chance to do it. The light is so, so, SO worth the healing process that’s necessary to get to it.
And the pain you feel right now is in direct proportion to the joy you will feel one day so please keep going.
Imagine I wasn’t here to celebrate with Paige tonight after her great news. Imagine I didn’t stay long enough to move to Montreal. Imagine my girl without her mother.
Now imagine all that might await YOU. Things you don’t even know are coming, but they’re coming. And you NEED to stick around for those.
It’s going to get better and I love you.
And I am so, so grateful I’m alive.
