Dealing with humanity is exhausting and hurts my heart. Thank goodness I've set my life up in a way that minimizes my need to interact with the world more than I'd like or I'd be screwed.
I am so grateful for freedom in my days and in my life to pretty much do as I please with whomever I please because I sure as hell couldn't serve the world as beautifully if I needed to constantly wade through the muck that surrounds so many of us.
I already had a lifetime of muck and I do everything I can to not get mucky anymore. I much prefer long grass, kitty cats, unicorns and sunbeams, thank you very much. And muck only when it's unavoidable. Not when I can see it in plain sight and have the opportunity to just walk away from it.
My lifestyle is chosen. My circle is chosen. My thoughts are all chosen. My actions are chosen.
I live a deliberate life because I don't want to be at the mercy of what surrounds me. I want to be the creator of what's to come.
It is up to US to set the boundaries for our life, to decide who can stay and who can't, to create exactly what we want, to take responsibility for the state of things if things aren't the way we like, and to honour our own limits by stating them clearly.
We cannot expect others to respect what we've yet to voice or what we aren't willing to stand up for. We cannot expect the world to give us the things we're unwilling to give ourselves. We cannot remain silent or refuse to make a choice (which is still a choice, by the way) and expect to live a grand life.
Stand strong and live your truth. Get clear on what you want and find a way to make it happen. Stop waiting for permission or to win the lottery or to lose weight or for tomorrow to start because one day, and maybe even today, tomorrow won't come and you'll have left this world with that unsung song in your heart.
We all have one. Are you singing yours yet?
All my love,
