I'll be 40 next month (in human years) but I still feel like a baby in this universe. Numbers piss me off. Being asked my age pisses me off. It's base. It's irrelevant. People use numbers to define and judge and compare and praise and it's silly.
The year someone was born has NO BEARING WHATSOEVER on the quality of person they become or what they can achieve in their lifetime. It defines nothing and has nothing to do with who we really are. What matters is how well we're living, loving, growing and flowing while we're here.
A person's age is the least interesting aspect about them in my opinion. But if you're going to use that number, use it to count how many years you've been infusing this world with your awesomeness.
And don't you dare call yourself "old". The universe is old. We are all here and gone in the blink of an eye.
