We've all been given another day, sweet friends. And if we're here online, that means we're well enough and well enough off to have the luxury to scan cyberspace instead of roaming the streets looking for food and shelter, or being caught in a war zone, or having our life and safety threatened in any other way right now.
We've got it pretty damn good. A lot of people don't. They'd give anything to live your life as you, regardless of all you see lacking within it and within yourself at the moment.
I'm not discounting anyone's current struggle because we all struggle at different levels, but let's just appreciate the basics. Food, shelter, safety. LIFE. The lives of those we love. The country we live in. A brand new day to live in a brand new way.
We truly only have this moment. Who knows when each of us will go? So as Jonathan Swift so wisely wrote, "May you live every day of your life." Before you know it, you'll be living your last one. Make this one mean something.
We are all oozing with potential to make our lives, ourselves and the world richer while we're here. We are either adding to the quality of our lives and to the lives around us, or we're not. So be mindful of what you're delivering to the world with each post, each conversation, each action. It all makes an extraordinary difference.
Your friend's list might be small but you're still impacting the world in every moment with every fibre of your being. We ALL feel the effects of positivity as well as negativity, even if it's not specifically directed towards us. We are all connected, and not just through cyberspace.
We all need so much more love and joy and compassion and reminders of truth each and every day because most times we're all just trying to make it through another hour, so please be a light for others, or at least don't pollute our world with more cruel words and actions.
We all deserve and can do so much better.
With love and gratitude,
Mandy xo
