I suppose every moment is divinely orchestrated, but I am acutely aware of the synchronicity of the past few days especially.
Those who know me well (or try to get in touch with me), know (or soon learn) I don't answer my phone very often, nor do I check for messages regularly. I recently had 25 voice mails dating back to Easter. So the chances of me getting yesterday's important message was a miracle. And the only reason I checked messages yesterday is because my Bowen therapy appointment for that morning had been cancelled and I was expecting a call to reschedule.
Normally weeks go by before I get to my phone messages, or even to get my regular mail, so isn't it wonderful that my appointment got cancelled? :) :) :) :)
When I got this morning's call, Rhonda and I were working and I was there to pick up the phone. So glad I was able to speak to Brian's brother in law and so very grateful he and Brian's sister were there yesterday when I was, so that we could exchange numbers.
Although I spent the morning in tears, I am truly happy that things unfolded as they did to line me up with my dear friend Brian before he left this world. I am so blessed. So grateful. So in love with life and the process of living it.
I have deemed today a generous self care day for myself, as well as a time to celebrate the gift of life and the gift of Brian's life.
I'm filling my day with the things and people I love (as always) and this includes yummy meals, lots of hugs, nature and the sun.
I also decided to go buy myself a special present, and so I headed to The Art of Home on Main St. in Cambridge because it's just so beautiful there and I knew I would find something I would love.
I know the owners (huge TGT fans) and when they asked how I was...well I couldn't lie. Their eyes teared up as I shared, and then in walked the previous owners of that space (pictured here...remember Enchanted Castle?) who are also dear friends of mine (as well as the very first Mandyland Radio sponsors in 2010) and I had not seen them since they closed their shop last year.
Sooooo many hugs (and tears) were shared and I thanked the universe inwardly for sending me so much love as I go through this day. I am so spoiled. Thank you, life.
And not only that, I purchased this orange Gurgle Pot (yes, it gurgles!) because that's my favourite colour and I will smile every time I pour water out of it :) They have it in many colours. I think everyone deserves a Gurgle Pot! :) :) :)
Now I am off to treat myself to lunch, and after my TGT Freebie Friday contest at 4 I'll be heading to Waterloo for my favourite panini at the Princess Cafe, as well as a movie and maybe even some dancing.
A hugfest would be most welcome today, so if you'll be in the area and want to join in on this evening's festivities, please do.
